SAARC Telecom Summit
 With a view to bring the SAARC countries
together in their bid to further the developments in the
telecom sector, the CEO Conclave this year will include the
SAARC Summit. The Summit—a first of its kind—will discuss the
learnings from each other, the possibilities of dependencies,
and knowledge-sharing within the region. Regulatory frameworks
for 3G and NGN will also form part of the discussion. |

CEO Round Table
 The countries in the SAARC region are more
diverse in comparison to those of in the other regions in the
world. CEOs of top telecom companies of the region will come
together and discuss whether the region is ready to take the
next steps in telecom technology, even as some areas struggle
with the basic amenities in connectivity. |

Networking Engagement
 Bringing together the biggest names in the
SAARC region, the VOICE&DATA CEO Conclave will offer a huge
opportunity for participants. The networking engagements will
be both interesting as well as insightful for expanding

bring out a SAARC report. it will focus on telecom
developments in the region. it will also highlights key

VOICE&DATA Innovation Awards
 Adding another first to its list of
achievements, VOICE&DATA is now honoring the innovations and
initiatives taken by those in the field of telecom. The idea
is to bring to the forefront the developments in telecom in
the region, the services that providers are working on, the
content that is available in the regional market, and so on.
The awards will be decided by a committee of representatives
from the industry in the SAARC countries. |
